Talking yourself into it is the hardest part. Your brain wants to make excuses why you ‘can’t do this’ but the truth is, anyone can do this. If you want a simplified home, it can be yours! The mental part is way harder than the physical part. If you believe a decluttered home would improve your life, I can’t think of any reason not to do it! #slowliving #simplehome #minimal #simpledecor

Friendly reminder while you’re decluttering! More doesn’t = more happy. More toys doesn’t = happier kids. More clothes if they’re not even clothes you like, doesn’t make you happier. The list goes on. I’d rather have less, and love all of it. As a minimal-ish Mom, I’m proof that you can live more simply and still love home decor, clothes etc. Follow along for more simple home tips + inspo!

Hi Erica, Although I am a grandma your video inspired me to keep on track and live a more simplified life without being a minimalist. I was fortunate enough to be home with my children until high school and then worked part time. There is something so calming about your personality and videos. Your family is so special! Hugs

Love this! I don’t know how I would achieve this with my kids’ rooms though because my 7 year old LOVES all her little items and Knick knacks, and my son builds legos so they are all over his book shelves and dresser

Thank you for this Content! I've been following you from the beginning. This pivot is so refreshing. I recently became a mom of 3. For years I have to routine of purging twice a year. I have also felt the need to enhance the frequency of decluttering since my son's arrival. I want to live in the moment and enjoy my children and be creating memories. I appreciate your help. I have started to get overwhelmed with the vicious cycle of keeping up with "things". My husband holds on to things, but I hope to inspire him also to de-stress with fewer things.

I feel like seasonal decoration is no longer trending right now anyway, it is more about simplifying/decluttering and enjoying what you have -> doing chores but also more time for family and hobbies except focusing on cleaning and organizing every spare time the too many things that you own. If you can share more on this would be great.
